Heya. Striker on area!

Hey, I'm new here, but I think we've already met before on RMVX community. Any problem with level design, you can count on me. Smile

Welcome aboard! Like I said on RMVX, we're still (hopefully) getting our tilesets together, but once we have them, we'll put you to work. Wink

Well, anyway using the default tileset wouldn't be a bad thing. Wait up, I'll have something to show up shortly. Smile

Its far too symmetrical. Nature is random, my good man.

I think I'm going to handle the mapping, and using the default set would be a TERRIBLE idea. We're making a good game here, you see, not something everyone else has. People get tired of seeing the same old crap rehashed.

I haven't stretched my mapping skills in some time, after the last time I used them for evil, but I think this time I can use them for good. I'd appreciate any assistance you want to provide, as well.

I have to say... That rooms are illusory, they are inside a mansion. Wink
that's why they are symmetrical. Smile
Real Nature is random, and I know how to do this. Some of my sidekicks could say I'm an illusionist, by creating that rooms. That's why I've said I could handle castle/ haunted house stages by design. Any other question? Very Happy
Ah yes, and these illusory rooms will be seen in their real appearance on a bonus I'm programming. Just wait and see.

OK, I suppose that makes sense. But if you remember, the haunted houses in M&L are EXTREMELY random by design, and should probably remain so, although final word ends with Recks.

I daresay I have a slight amount of experience on you; uh, 6 years. lol

But yeah, I still think your work is quite good, and I look forward to working with you.

Just... do us a favor and don't take off like everyone else. This is going to take some time.

Ah yes, I remember WooHoo Academy on Superstar Saga. That was real random, but some of the rooms were a little symmetrical too. Like the room with that smiling statues. Anyway, I could set here some ideas. Okay? Smile

Well it seems like you kinda worked it out. Razz

That's kinda what I was thinking. Symmetrics are good for most castles, fortresses, and final boss rooms. Aside from the Haunted House level, I think that's where we could use Striker. Random nature stuff would fall to Crono. Many hands makes light work and all. Smile

But I think perhaps we should open up a discussion topic for stuff like this instead of taking up space in your intro. Wink

Agreed. Open a new topic and give us some good examples of your work. I won't judge you too harshly with it, seeing as how the tileset we WILL be using is much different, so yeah, let's see what kind of skill you have.

Alright. Uh, one more thing: I think I've already said this on RMVX, I'm Brazilian. And that DEMO of my game, that was being sent by 4shared, is being updated right now. You'll be the first ones to know, when the new DEMO is ready.

I'm going to have to request that you no longer use the dark red text. I cannot read it.

And that's cool, Brazilian is awesome. No idea why it matters, but yeah. I assume your demo isn't in English?

Well, it isn't. But I think that would be nice a language selection later. I'll work on it.
